In Nallikari Holiday Village outdoor activities are but a step away. The following are within walking distance: historic Hietasaari villa milieu, wilderness tracks, bird-watching towers, miniature golf, ski tracks, and ball games hall. Nallikari area offers plenty to do from toddlers to grandpas anything from the largest summer theatre in Finland to Vauhtipuisto Amusement Park. The Eden spa, restaurants and cafes that are open year round are also in the area.
Several ice cream kiosks and the lighthouse cafe also open for the summer months. In winter, Nallikari Winter Village, the international snow sculpting contest Baltic Snow Call and the frozen sea invite guests to enjoy themselves. Wind sports and FatBike rentals are available from Leijakoulu Lappis.
The one-kilometer long sandy beach in Nallikari is full of sunbathers in summer. Locals’ year-round “living-room” invites people on to the beach. In summer, the beach is crowded by roller skaters, cyclists, athletes, beach volleyball and football players and families with children who enjoy the playgrounds. Nallikari Restaurant is open and in summer also the Nallikari landmark, lighthouse, opens its cafe and hires water sports equipment. Lifeguards are on duty at the beach, there are changing cubicles and toilet facilities.
There are three beach volleyball courts, beach football field, gym equipment, climbing frames and playgrounds for children. All are free for Nallikari visitors.
