NALLIKARI LOMAKYLÄ HAS RENEWED ITS SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL LABEL FOR THE YEAR 2025

Nallikari Holiday Village has once again taken steps towards more responsible and sustainable tourism. The Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) label, first awarded in 2021, has now been renewed at the beginning of 2025, and Nallikari Holiday Village continues its journey as part of the development of sustainable tourism in Finland.

Nallikari’s Commitment to Environmental Responsibility

The STF label is a prestigious recognition awarded to companies and travel destinations that meet the criteria for sustainable tourism and environmental responsibility. Nallikari Holiday Village is committed to operating in an environmentally friendly manner and supporting responsible choices by travelers. The renewal of the label is a testament to the long-term efforts and continuous development in the field of sustainable tourism.

Constant actions for the benefit of the environment

At Nallikari, we actively strive to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and maximize its positive effects on nature. For this reason, environmentally certified products are preferred in our purchases. This mindset extends to the company’s daily operations, where staff behavior is guided by environmental awareness. In the facilities, sustainable long-lasting utensils are used, and the cleaning staff has been using an electric car. In 2024, electric cars were also purchased for the property maintenance staff, which helps reduce transportation emissions.

Nallikari not only focuses on its own operations but also encourages its guests to participate in sustainable tourism. The accommodations are designed to reduce energy consumption, and guests are given the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint with the help of its domestic partner, Wood Forest Finland Oy.
